I'm currently going to Post -16 school (Doing A Levels), but it is quite far away and although I love the school, students and teachers , the travelling is really tiring and I have never been a fan of the slow learning process in schools. If i was to stop going to school and get a job instead (25 hours a week) whilst learning from home (I'd work for A levels and distance learning vocational qualifications). Do Universities accept self taught students (With qualifiations) or do I have to have gone to Post-16 education for the 2 years? More info: would like to do university course of International Events management at EBSL thank you :D i'm 16 and i would be doing courses: - ASET Level 3 Event management (Open Study College) - French and Spanish A levels (as external candidate or through Open university) - politics and/or classical civilisations A leve (as external candidate or through oxford distance learning college)

Im studying event management and have to come up with an event to organise with 4 other people. I know i should be creative if i want to get into this line of work and think o something myself but because we r up against like 20 other groups its hard to do something different. just hought id ask if anyone had any ideas? our budget is about £1000 help!
