  • Open Question: Can anyone tell me please?

Can anyone enlighten me as to why the civil service seem to be furiously advertising jobs (whose salaries will be paid by the taxpayer) when everyone else is getting laid off? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/jobs/3492912/Bonanza-for-jobs-but-only-in-public-sector.html If the country is in so much debt and we are trying to save money, why don't they cut back on civil servants? Check out the scrolling job vacancies on the bottom right of this page. Here are some more: http://jobs.guardian.co.uk/jobs/government/ 638 at the moment. So, if you are unemployed, have a look. The government are the biggest employers in the country. I read that they are now employing 10 million civil servants (all categories). Thats a six of the population! Sweet safe pension too.

  • Resolved Question: Help with picking A-levels please!!!?

hiyer I'm in year eleven and at the point where i need to start choosing what i am going to take as my A-levels. im still not 100% sure what i want to be when im older but i think itll be something in business/finance. ive heard that taking business as an A-level is not particualrly respected and that taking economics would be more respectable. is this true? I am definalty taking Maths and Physcology, and then maybe Economics or Business.. but im not too sure about the fourth. Ive heard that taking a Language ( i could take spanish) makes you very employable but also that a high Gcse grade in a language is just as good. after that i have no idea what i could take..... and i really dont want to cut my options off, incase i change my mind about what i want to persue. if i dont take any sciences does that mean i could never go into medicine? and if i dont take anything 'arty' would that mean i could never go into advertising? please help xxx thanks

Can the finance company take the car from me even although I have already paid for it? PLEASE HELP.
