structural changes to your property it is likely that you will need to employ
the services of a surveyor and / or structural engineer to get accurate
measurements and carry out the structural calculations.

Hi I have just finished my RIBA Part 1 in UK. I'm an international student. My question is - is the EU board of architecture compatible with RIBA? If ARB/RIBA is split into Part I, II and III, how does the EU board of architects work? Also, universities that I have found are mainly doing just urban design, which isn't what I'm looking for. Which university provide the architectural (building design specifically)? I heard good recommendations regarding Holland architecture schools ie. great importance on archi, good facilities, 3x cheaper in tuition fees, full course conducted in English. It would be great if anyone has any experience or can provide any links. Many thanks! ...and roughly how much financial outlay is involved just to apply for the planning consent? (i.e. Do I need an architect to draw up detailed plans, etc?) I am a year 11 student in London also I'm new and doing BTEC Science's at the moment do I need to do GCSE or its not necessarily??? I would be really happy if you give some more information abut Uk educational system and what GCSE's and Alevels do I need ?? Many thanks in advance and thanks a lot .
